FELTED BALLET SLIPPERS

  • The Red Thread 10S 5th Street Warrenton, VA 20186 USA

Constructed more like a shoe than a sock, these felted slippers will keep you stylish AND comfortable!  Also great for gifts, as it is a very quick project!  These slippers are knit, or crocheted, with three strands for extra cushioning on the sole and two strands for the sides and flap.  The pieces are then seamed and felted afterwards.  The class will be conducted in two sessions, the first will have two instructors, Liz and Laura, to teach the construction of the knit or crocheted slipper pieces. And the second will be taught by Liz and will cover the seaming of the slippers and walk you through how to felt them at home.  Please note that there is no seaming required for the crochet version, so they will just attend the first class.
