OUR STORY

THE BEGINNING

Just two women who spontaneously decided to open a yarn shop.  Actually, not just a yarn shop...more like a gathering place that involves yarn. Lots and lots of yarn. And lots and lots of laughs.

The Next Chapter

Barbara and Karen retired and now we have Richard and Mary Lou! Richard has been crocheting for more than 40 years, tatting for four and half years, and within the past couple of years he has begun learning bobbin lace-making. Mary Lou, who also crochets, is the knitter in the family.

P.S.

Should you ever find yourself near Warrenton, please come on in...we'd love to have your company!  And if you can't make it to Warrenton, join us on Facebook and see what's the new talk and old talk of yarn.

A GATHERING PLACE

at the shop:

We gather together at The Red Thread.

We gather together to knit, crochet and tat.
We gather together to talk and laugh!
We gather together to learn, encourage and relax.

We gather together at The Red Thread.

We gather together through...

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break.
